Improve Your Smile Today

Missing teeth are a bigger problem than you’d think. Your oral hygiene is greatly affected by even one absent tooth. Luckily, with modern dentistry there’s really no reason to allow gaps in your teeth to remain. If you’re hoping to permanently restore your smile, Dr. Ryan Rupert and Robinson Township Smiles suggest dental implants in Coraopolis, PA.

While dentures and bridges need replacements, dental implants are a more permanent solution to missing teeth. The implants match the shape of the lost tooth, so your smile will be perfectly restored. But why do you need to replace a missing tooth?

A gap between teeth creates many problems for your jaw. Without a replacement, oral hygiene will decline. Your teeth start slanting towards the open space, exposing areas that enamel does not protect. Food can also become lodged in this gap.

Your bite changes with a missing tooth, too. The way your lower and upper arcs of teeth fit together – known as dental occlusion – will deviate, leading to overcrowding or teeth grinding. Dental implants can stop these problems before they arise. If left untreated, your missing teeth could end up costing you more than the dental implant.

Some dentists will need to refer patients to other oral surgeons in order to complete the dental implant process. However, your local Robinson Township dentist can handle your entire dental implant procedure in-house. As a trained, expert implant dentist, Dr. Rupert uses the latest tools, technology, and techniques to deliver superior results.

Dr. Rupert is always looking for ways to improve his patients’ dental care experience, and he has been recognized as a FAGD, (Fellow in the Academy of General Dentistry), which requires more than 500 hours of continuing education. This is a recognition that only 6% of dentists achieve. He has placed hundreds of dental implants and has the experience and skills to handle any case.

Getting your dental implants in Coraopolis from a single dentist at Robinson Township 15108 has a number of benefits. First, Dr. Rupert will be more familiar with your oral health and the condition of your mouth than a referred dentist would be. You’ll also be able to contact Dr. Rupert and follow-up throughout the healing process to ensure that everything is progressing properly when it comes to your dental implant.

Dr. Rupert will place your implant as well as the crown that will replace your tooth, so he will be able to craft a crown that looks just like your natural teeth, and ensures that you’re happy with the results of your tooth restoration.

You’ll also save time and money by choosing Robinson Township Smiles. You won’t have to drive across town to see multiple dentists or be surprised by a sky-high bill. We make our costs clear and transparent, so you’ll always know just what you’re getting.

Whether you’re in Sewickley, North Fayette, or Oakdale, Robinson Township Smiles can restore your smile with convenient, comprehensive care.If you’re missing a single tooth or you need multiple implants for an implant-supported bridge or denture, our team is always here to help.

Dr. Rupert will insert a titanium post into the gum and jawbone. Once this post is implanted, it will mimic the root of a tooth and naturally bond in place. The jaw is then given 3-6 months to heal.

Once healing is complete, Dr. Rupert will then attached a dental crown to the post that replicates the size and shape of the missing tooth. After that, you’ll walk out with a restored smile!
