Improve Your Smile Today

If you’re missing one or more of your natural teeth, you may feel self-conscious about your appearance. Missing teeth can also interfere with proper speech and chewing, which can cause a lot of inconvenience and embarrassment in your day-to-day life. But whether you’re missing just a few teeth or all of your natural teeth, Dr. Ryan Rupert of Robinson Township Smiles is here to help.

Partial dentures are a great option for patients who have lost several teeth, but still have a relatively healthy mouth that is free of gum disease and tooth decay. This type of dentures uses a metal and plastic framework, which supports several false teeth.

These false teeth rest in the sockets where your missing teeth used to be, and the denture framework connects to your remaining healthy teeth, clipping onto them to keep your teeth in place.

While dental implants and dental bridges are usually a better long-term option for restoring missing teeth, partial dentures are much more affordable, and high-quality partials can last for years.

Full-arch dentures are only recommended if most or all of your teeth are missing, or your remaining teeth are very damaged and cannot be saved. This is because during the fitting process, all of your remaining teeth must be extracted.

However, full-arch dentures are usually the fastest, most affordable, and most convenient way to restore your smile if it has been damaged by oral disease or serious dental trauma. For more information and to see if you’re a good candidate for full-arch dentures, schedule an appointment with a local Robinson Township dentist.

Benefit of Dentures

  • Prevent further complications – If you’re missing just a few teeth, your remaining teeth could shift toward the now-empty sockets, ruining your bite and smile. Getting a set of partial dentures will prevent this, saving you time and money.

  • Chew & speak normally – Your new teeth will look and feel just like natural teeth, and will allow you to eat your favorite foods, speak clearly, and smile proudly once again.

  • Reasonable cost, covered by insurance – Both full and partial dentures are usually covered by insurance. They are also usually a less expensive option compared to alternatives like dental implants and dental bridges.

  • Fast results – You can restore your smile in just 2-3 weeks with a set of custom-made dentures from Robinson Township Smiles.
